About Gang Ngai

The festival of Gang Ngai is a celebration in Manipur. Amid the clench hand day of this five day celebration, the Kabui Nagas respect their predecessors through consecrated ceremonies. The main day is trailed by four days of ceaseless festivals. There are group feasts, different projects of music and move exhibitions that keep the gathering of people hypnotized for quite a while.

It is through this celebration of Gang-Ngai in Manipur that the Kabui Nagas get an opportunity to preserve and defend their religion. The bouleds brimming with people moving in their beautiful customary clothing types, to the tunes of musical ethic instruments, encompassed by excited groups of onlookers, exhibits a lovely sight in Manipur. The festivals proceed for five days.
