About National Deworming Day

The National Deworming Day is an activity of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India to make each youngster in the nation worm free. This is one of the biggest general wellbeing programs achieving substantial number of kids amid a brief period.

In excess of 836 million kids are in danger of parasitic worm contaminations around the world. As per World Health Organization 241 million youngsters between the ages of 1 and 14 years are in danger of parasitic intestinal worms in India, otherwise called Soil-Transmitted Helminths STH. On this day different projects were planned for ious schools of india to aware them about STH.
