The beaches, the lagoons, the wonderful coral reef and the colorful marine life brings a different zing to coastline adventures. The high mountains provide amazing opportunities for hiking and trekking sports. The capital of Indonesia is the enigmatic city of Jakarta. With its beginning as a small harbor town, it has had a fascinating history that has made it one of the most vibrant cities in Southeast Asia. The attraction in the city are Ancol Dream Park, Jakarta Old Town, Presidential Palace, Jakarta History Museum and many more. The city is situated on the main island of Java. Other major islands in Indonesia are Sumatra, Papua and Maluku.
