About East Java
East Java is a province of Indonesia. Located in Eastern Java, it also includes Madura Island, which is connected to Jakarta, the longest bridge in Indonesia, Suramadhu bridge, as well as the Kangian and Maslendumbu islands located in the east and north. Its capital is Surabaya, which is Indonesia's second largest city and is a major industrial center. The largest Regency in Banuwaang East Java is Java and the largest on the island. In Blitter, a rebellion by PETA Homeland Defenders happened in the beginning of 1945, under the leadership of Supriadi, Moireadi, Halir Mangkudujio and Somarto, but it was crushed by the Japanese.
