Jim Corbett is situated in Nainital, Uttarakhand and is home to almost 650 ieties of endangered species of animals and birds. It was launched in the year of 1936 and is a famous Tiger reserve. The Jim Corbett covers a total of 520 sq. kilometers of area spanned over Nainital, Almora and Pauri Garhwal. the landmass comprises of riverine belts, hills, large lakes, marshy land, and grasslands. The famous Royal Bengal tiger has its home here.
