River Rafting
Rishikesh, a town in the Kumaun region of Uttarakhand offers you a chance to dance on the rocky waves of the river Ganges. The river rafting here is renowned for the sharp waves one gets to ride. The rafting track starts from the Brahmpuri and lasts at the Ramjhula. You can also stay here overnight for camping and then start the rafting next day.
Skiing
The snow-clad slopes of Auli are world known for their majestic skiing experience. The high peaks with lots of snow and the chilling weather gives you a great adrenaline pump. The ski track ranges from 10-20 kilometers and was once the training ground for the Para Military Forces.
Trekking
Lord Curzon indeed discovered a treasured place for the rest of the world in the Garhwal Himalayan Range. The Kuari Pass originates from Joshimath in Chamoli District and is very well known for its panoramic beauty and picturesque views.
