About Tehri
Tehri is a city and a civil board in Tehri Garhwal District in the Indian province of Uttarakhand. It is the managerial seat of Tehri Garhwal District. This urban region territory has 14 wards, from Vasant Vihar to Vishwakarma Puram Koti settlement. Tehri presently goes under the Tehri get together seat of Uttrakhand and the Tehri Lok Sabha seat of India, which are spoken to by Dhan Singh Negi Bhartiya Janta Party and Raj Laxmi Shah Bhartiya Janta Party individually.
The old town of Tehri sat at the juncture of the Bhagirathi and Bhilangna waterways. Tehri was the capital of the august territory of Tehri Garhwal Kingdom in British India, which had a region of 4,180 square miles 10,800 km2, and a populace of 268,885 of every 1901.
