Chaubatiya Gardens
Nestled at the height of 1800 meters from the sea level and spread across 600 acres of land, Chaubatiya Gardens are a sight for soaring eyes. The gardens are truly fertile and produced some richest of the peaches, apples, apricots, and many local fruits. The orchands here are on the full bloom in summers and make a perfect sight when laden with flowers. For nature lovers the place is a must visit as it captures you in its unspoken spell. The gardens also offer a panoramic view of some renowned mountain ranges like Nanda Devi, Trishul, Neelkanth and Nandaghunti.
Bhalu Dam
Around 3 kilometers from the Chaubatiya Orchard is a splendid artificial lake covered with a preserved forest area. The lake was initially made to serve the water supply issues of the town by the British rulers in 1903. However, it is a famous tourist place nowadays. The sight is cherished by people for picnics and camping. You can also trek to this place from Ranikhet covering a distance of 1 Kilometers.
Haidakhan Temple
The temple is renowned all across the world for being of importance for weddings. People come here to get married in Indian traditional way. The temple enshrines two tall statues of Indian deity Hanuman and Lord Shiva. The view of the gigantic Himalayas from the temple is awe-inspiring.
Upat Golf Course
One of the highest golf courses of India, the Upat Golf Course is spread across the plains amidst the mountains. It is a 9 holed golf course which has well manicured grass sprawled across. You can picnic here and also try your hand on golfing as the Golf Course has provision for visitor membership.
Manilla
Manilla is some 87 kilometers from Ranikhet and is renowned to be the native place pof Manila Devi who was the kul devi of Katyuri Clan. Nestled at a height of 1820 meters above the sea level this place is a blissful present of Nature. Though the place is less renowned, it is a worth visit place.
Jhulla Devi Temple
The temple dates back to the 8th century and is devoted Goddess Durga. The pristine setting of the temple amidst the Himalayas bordered with deodar trees makes it a famous tourist place. The idol of Maa Durga was found by a Shepherd and in a dream the goddess herself guided the Shepherd to establish a temple right where the idol was found. This is how the temple came into existence. The temple is around 7 kilometers away from the town.

Ranikhet serves you typical Kumauni food. Bhatt, Chains, Ras, bada, pua are some loal dishes those are sure to leave a mark on your taste buds for long. There are many eating joints serving multi-cuisine food. Some of the eating joints are located at the hill tops and are known for their refreshing chai and lip-smacking maggi.

Ranikhet by Bus
The roads connecting Ranikhet to rest of the country are in good conditions. The Uttarakhand Roadways runs regular buses to Ranikhet, The fair of the buses is also minimal and they offer you a good view and comfortable travelling Ranikhet by Taxi

The last railway station connecting Ranikhet with rest of the country is Kathgodam Railway station. The railway station is a well connected one and there are many trains to and fro Kathgodam from ious part of the country. The railways station is around 90 kilometers from Ranikhet.
Ranikhet by Air
Ranikhet does not have any airport of its own. The nearest airport to town is Pantnagar Domestic Airport which is located at a distance of 119 kilometers. The airport has regular flights from Delhi. One can arrange for a taxi or take a bus from Pantnagar to reach Ranikhet.
