About Sazo Festival

It is a most anticipated celebration of Himachal Pradesh, Sazo is commended to say goodbye to the town divinities. During the celebration, the doors of the sanctuaries stay closed, however the wagons of god and goddesses stay open. It is trusted that on this day, different gods habitation paradise for a short snooze. The custom implies that God showers great things from paradise on its lovers. Along these lines, the town individuals perfect and clean the floors of the sanctuaries to get God's favors. All through the celebration, villagers are filled with ecstasy and joy.

On this day, priests of the sanctuaries are deeply worshipped as they are considered as the representative of the god. In a few towns, ministers of the sanctuary travel between ious houses just to sniff the incense. Towns give the cleric a warm gathering; as a respect they likewise blessing them nourishment grains and endowments, a little custom known as the Deacher and Deokhel. Poltus, Rice, Pulses, Vegetables, Meat, Halva, Chilta are a portion of the dishes prepared by the villagers on this event.
