MAHESHWAR TEMPLE

Maheshwar Temple is arranged in Sungra, Kinnaur Distt and a celebrated sanctuary in Himachal Pradesh. On the dividers, there are profoundly cut pictures of Hindu divinities which are a treat for the craftsmanship student of history. Maheshwar Temple have heavenly wood boards on either side the gateways. On the sanctuary entryway, there is a little stone place of worship considering to the eighth century,evidence of the site's old times. The symbols of Vishnu and Hindu Zodiac signs can be seen on the eastern walls. The structures around the sanctuary yard are also decorated. The legend of the sanctuary is, Long back the Sungra Maheshwar was once said to have been assaulted by a foe of superhuman strength.
