About Drupka Teshi Festival

Drukpa Teshi celebration is commended by the Buddhists. The primary Noble Truth is the Noble Truth of torment. The Second Noble Truth is reality of the birthplace of torment Karma and Delusion and their causes. The third Noble Truth is the discontinuance of the misery or the accomplishment of Nirvana.

The fourth Noble Truth is reality of the Eight Fold Path prompting Nirvana. This day is praised on the fourth day Teshi of the 6th month Drukpa of the Tibetan date-book in the long stretch of July or August consistently. This celebration is praised in Gangtok where the petitions are held at the Deer Park and at Muguthang in extraordinary North Sikkim and a Yak race is additionally held amid the celebration.
