Upon your arrival at Cochin, our driver will take you to a breathtaking ride up the hills of the Nilgiris for 130 km in approximately 4 hours to Munnar. On the way you will get to see vast stretches of tea plantations, colonial buildings and cascading waterfall at Athirappilly. Further up you get to see the wild and beautiful Valara and Cheeyappara Falls. Soon you will reach Munnar Hotel, where after completing the check-in formalities, you can relax for some time. Later, you may visit the local market and check the surroundings at leisure. Have a good night sleep at the hotel at the end of the day.

We start the day with heavy breakfast and drive down to Eravikulam National Park, a must visit when in Munnar. Sighting the Nilgiri Tahr, an endangered species of mountain goat is very common. The lush green rolling hills of this park and stretches of green tea plantations are spectacular sights in the cold, foggy December. The Anamudi Peak, the highest peak of South India is the other attractions of this park. The next stop is at the Tea Museum by Tata Tea, where you get to observe the how tea is processed besides being revitalized with hot cups of tea. The next stop is at the Rose Garden for a great view of the roses with the dew drops. Next we stop at Photo Point from where we take you to Mattupetty Dam, Elephant Arrival Point, and then to the Echo Point. Go to Indo Swiss Project (entrance is subject to prior permission). You can go for some shopping spree and post dinner tuck yourself tight to a good night/’s sleep after a lovely day of sightseeing.

On the third day, after a hearty breakfast, get ready to depart and wind up your three days tour of Munnar. After completing your check-out formalities, you will drive back to Cochin. From here, you can take your return flighttrainbus back home.
