The celebration is committed to the Hindu gods Shiva and Sakti and is set apart by a strict atonement wherein the entertainers of Charak Puja experience outrageous physical agonies and stresses.
"Inside one body there are two divine beings, one is Shiva and the other Parvati. In this celebration individuals are covered under mud and stroll over flame, individuals are hanged with snares, blade recreations are appeared, individuals consider thousand of nails and so forth. This puja is being performed from the welfare of the general population of the Earth and the country," said Hemanta Hrishi Das, the primary cleric.
