Papmochani Ekadashi
About Papmochani Ekadashi
Papmochani Ekadashi falls on the eleventh day of blurring period of moon in Chaitra month as indicated by Indian Hindu date-book. This Ekadashi is the last one in every one of the 24 Ekadashi fasts. According to South Indian timetable, it is set apart on the Krishna Paksha of Phalguna month though it is commended on Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month as indicated by the North Indian logbook.
Strangely this Ekadashi falls around the same time in both north and south Indian date-books. The word 'Papamochani' is made with two words Paap and Mochani. 'Paap' implies sin or offense and word "Mochani" implies remover. Enthusiasts trust that watching quick on Papamochani Ekadasi is very favorable. The individuals who watch this quick would be excused from their wrongdoings. Master Vishnu is mostly loved on Ekadashi Fasts.
