About Athens international film festival
The Athens international film festival opening nights was established by the Athens film society a non-profit organization with the expectation of featuring lesser-known perspectives/classifications of autonomous silver screen, acquainting crowds with a portion of the best preparations of the year and building up itself as the perfect opening of the up and coming motion picture season. The festival was propelled in September 1995 and proceeds effectively up to this point. As indicated by a CINEMA magazine overview, the festival gathering of people generally comprises of 60,000 film-goers, who are occupied with finding out about the most recent motion picture patterns from everywhere throughout the world and viewing the best creations of the season before any other person.
They will probably give them a handpicked choice of free preparations from everywhere throughout the world. The screenings occur in the four most focal, built up and all around prepared Athenian film theaters: Attikon Cinemax Class, Apollon Cinemax Class, Danaos I and II. All auditoriums have an aggregate limit of 2,000 watchers. The festival's introduction to present day and weighty film has pulled in a dynamic and flexible crowd. The 24th Athens international film celebration premiere nights which will happen from the 8th April to 14th April, welcomes Greek movie producers to present their movies in the Greek short films competition section.
