About Museum of Cycladic Art

Museum of Cycladic Art is a gallery located in the Athens city of Greece and it houses an outstanding gathering of ancient rarities of Cycladic craftsmanship.It was founded by The Nicholas P. Goulandris.

It was established in 1986 keeping in mind the end goal to house the accumulation of Cycladic and Ancient Greek workmanship having a place with Nicholas and Dolly Goulandris and it was primary building, raised in the focal point of Athens in 1985, was outlined by the Greek draftsman Ioannis Vikelas.

Beginning in the mid-1960s, the couple gathered Greek relics, with unique enthusiasm for the ancient workmanship from the Cyclades islands of the Aegean Sea.

The neo-established Stathatos Mansion at the side of Vassilissis Sofias Avenue and Herodotou Street and it was obtained another wing in 1991.
