About Ashoka’s Birth Anniversary

Around 2,320 years after Ashoka was conceived the Bihar government has 'found' the immense Mauryan's birthday. It has proclaimed that the Ashoka was born on April 14, a date that accommodatingly corresponds with the birth commemoration and will be an official occasion in the state.

The move is being viewed as the Mahagathbandhan government's endeavor to bring the Kushwahas who trust Ashoka was from their group over into its crease. RJD-JD U pioneers conceded the move has no recorded premise yet was done because of weight from the group. He added that Buddhists celebrate April 14 as 'enlightenment' day.

Ashoka has abruptly turned into the protest of a political pull of war, said Rajeshwar Prasad Singh, previous leader of the History office at Patna college. "Prior, BJP had made a fanciful picture of Ashoka.
