About Aranmula Boat Race

The Aranmula Uthrittathi Vallamkali or Aranmula Boat Race is the most old and loved vessel races of Kerala. Hung upon the arrival of the Uthrittathi asterism in the Malayalam month of Chingam, it is outstanding for its magnificence and extraordinary history. Aranmula is a legacy town lies in the banks of the waterway Pampa in the Pathanamthitta area of Kerala. Legend says that a passionate Brahmin guaranteed to give every one of the necessities to the ThiruvonaSadya devour held amid Thiruvonam.
