Memorable 6 Days 5 Nights Munnar Hill Stations Trip Package

The very first day of the tour which starts on arrival at Cochin International Airport /Railway station. Our tour guide will receive you and thereafter depart for Munnar (130 kms / 04 hrs). On the way you will be enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous Valara & Cheeyyapara Seasonal waterfalls and high mountains with its greenery. Once you arrive at Munnar you need to check in to the Hotel and after the lunch you can enjoy optional activities on extra cost such as Spice Plantation Visit and Elephant Safari. Overnight stay at Munnar Hotel.

On the very next day after morning tea and breakfast you need to start your drive to Thalayar Tea Estate by 8am. In the way you will be taken to the Eravikulam National Park, a sanctuary for the Nilgiri Tahr, the endangered mountain goat of South India. Then you will start your journey to Thalayar Tea Estate where you have to reach Thalayar by 11am located 25kms far from Munnar & 15kms from Eravikulam National Park. There you may visit a quaint Bungalow built in 1924 and even you can see firsthand how tea is processed and witness the life of tea planters. You will visit the tea factory and you will get to know the history and legacy of the tea plantation including certain highlights which have added to the grandeur and significance of the estate. Overnight stay at Munnar Hotel.

You will start the journey of the third day after your morning tea and breakfast. You will move ahead to the very interesting Aranya Naturals and DARE (Development Activities in Rehabilitative Education) Projects. Then from there you will move ahead to visit the Flower Garden and for an Elephant Safari, before driving on to the scenic Mattupetty Dam, Echo- Point and Kundala Dam where you may enjoy boating on the lake. Finally to Koviloor Villages via Pampadum Shola national park if interested you can plan for a short trek organized by forest officials you can book the trekking tour on arrival. Finally you will take an overnight stay at the hotel.

The fourth day tour will start at 8 am in the morning after your breakfast. Then you will be travelling by a 4 wheel drive jeep to the Kolukkumalai Tea Plantation. You will see the backdrop of magnificent mountain scenery and with inspirational views all around, it is well worth the difficulty of access. An afternoon visit to the tea factory can be arranged and for those clients wishing to make the most of the rejuvenating mountain air and scenery a guided one-hour walking tour around the estate is included in the tour.

The trek starts by 08:30 am with an guidance of Guide from Local Community through the tea plantations, next couple of hours trek will be on the ridge which offers beautiful views of pullivasal & surrounding areas, it will be through grasslands, one side will be rocky mountain slope and the other side will be tea plantations, patches of Shola forest etc. If you are lucky you can spot wild Elephants enroute.Overnight will be at Munnar.
