About Venkanna Babu Kalyanotsavam

The Venkanna Babu Temple at Yanam is one such old sanctuary in the Yanam town of Andhra Pradesh. The primary god here is Lord Venkateswara. This sanctuary witnesses lakhs of enthusiasts from over the globe amid the Phalguna month time frame amongst February and March. The Kalyanotsavam celebration celebrated here continues for 24 long days and is the real celebration of the sanctuary. Here the Lord is spruced up as groom and he is gone up against parade all through the lanes in the region of the sanctuary on all the 24 days. The fundamental event of the marriage occurs on the twelfth day and individuals from places far over the state come here to see the celestial wedding.
