About Thirumandhamkunnu Pooram

The yearly pooram festivity at Thirumandhamkunnu is a renowned sanctuary celebration in the area amongst Shornur and Kozhikode. From early days it self-Valluvakonathiri praised this celebration planned for his family diety in ceremony and wonder. Another rendition that he began this pooram celebration when the rights and benefits of Mamankom were lost to the Zamorion.
