About Paripally Gajamela
The Paripally Gajamela happens at the Paripally Kodimootil Sree Bhadrakaali Temple close Kollam. The elephant parade happens on the tenth day of the yearly merriments at the sanctuary. The celebration is punctuated by social projects and comes full circle with the elephant show. A large group of upwards of 50 caparisoned elephants parade gloriously as a tribute to the god amid the Parippally Gajamela, a piece of the yearly celebration at the Kodimoottil Sree Bhagavathy Temple devoted to Goddess Bhadrakali.
A large group of social projects are organized as a feature of this occasion on the sanctuary premises for the amusement of the lovers. The elephants are paraded on the finishing up day of the ten-day celebration. Take off to Kodimoottil Bhagavathy Temple in the long stretch of March to inundate yourself in the exuberant Gajamela Festival.
