About Garhwali and Kumaoni Food Festival

A 10-day Uttarakhand meals festival become organized for the first time at a 5-star motel in Bengaluru which attracted not best the Uttarakhand natives living within the city but additionally the people from exceptional cultural backgrounds. The meals pageant that on Sunday, had around 20 delectable traditional Garhwali and Kumaoni dishes to satiate the taste buds of meals enthusiasts. The dishes had been organized through a group of four younger Uttarakhand cooks running inside the hotel.

 

The food festival, which changed into organized at Marriott Hotel, was the brainchild of Kripal Singh, age 24, who's the pinnacle chef on the inn. With the consent and support of inn owner Aniket Shah, Kripal organized the food pageant where round 20 dishes, which includes bhatt ki dal, aaloo ki thichyodi and gehat ke dubke. The different three cooks have been Pankaj Singh, Mahendra Singh and Rahul Dhondiyal – they all hailing from Uttarakhand.
