About Carnaval De Quebec
Incepted in the year 1894, Carnaval De Qubec has turned out to be one of the popular festival of the world. The fest was created to beat the winter chills took its phenomenal form in the year 1950. Consider as one of the largest winter carnival, Carnaval De Qubec is a 17 day carnival offering night parades, ice slides, dog-sled races through the streets of the city, snow rafting, an outdoor cinema yes, Ice Age has been screened here, an international snow-sculpture competition and outdoor dance parties in the snow.
For those who are brave enough could actually try out the 3 dips in snow bath. A combination of tradition and entertainment, the fest showcases renowned events, such as the canoe race on the icy St. Lawrence River, the International Snow Sculpture Competition, and the magical night parades. For 50 years, the Carnaval De Qubec celebrates winters in gala form. It has now become merrymaking point where all collect and rejoice the coming of winters. Most of the events in Carnaval De Qubec are outdoor and there are minimal charges for its entrance.
