They offer an incredible iety of goods and, even if you’re not intending to buy anything, you should come to experience the bustling scenes, the endless street snacks, and the cosmopolitan vibes.   The nightly performance of lights and music incorporating the skyscrapers of Hong Kong and Kowloon is a must for people new to Hong Kong. Called the Symphony of Lights, it is a fun way to truly appreciate how awesome the northern shore of Hong Kong really is. Try to make it down to the harbour preferably on the Kowloon side for around 20:00 as the performance starts at 20:15 every night.  After that, the night is calling you so head to Lan Kwai Fong to experience how the local and expat community really do burn the candle at both ends. This small block of bars, pubs, clubs and parties is the centre of all nightlife escapades in Hong Kong. Bar hop the night away and, if you stay late enough, join the street party that amasses outside 7-Eleven after the bars close. The park is divided into lands themed areas. Choose which land you want to cover that day. Meet your favourite Disney characters, enjoy the fun rides and watch fireworks in the evening. Return to Hotel and overnight stay.

If you didn’t spend all your money at the markets the day before on the Peninsula, there is plenty of shopping to be had on the Hong Kong Island side with Admiralty, Central, Times Square and Soho playing host to designer shops galore. Even if you can’t afford the likes of Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Armani, it’s nice to wander through their shiny polished shops and take a peek at how the other half live – or grab some designer bargains. Hong Kong City is not a town that rises early and so it’s a great way to kill a few hours before starting your main activity for the day if you want to get out and about. The views from Victoria Peak deserve a few daylight hours and some of the early evening to really appreciate them, and I love the change between daylight, twilight and night time. Peak tram climbs up the side of the mountain on a angle between 4-27 degrees and it is so steep it creates an optical illusion that the skyscrapers of Hong Kong are actually leaning.

Have an early breakfast this morning, catch up on some quick shopping to buy last minute souvenirs for friends and family and later get ready to transfer to the airport in order for you to catch your flight back home.
