Ecstatic 5 Days Kochi to Thekkady Wildlife Holiday Package

Great Trip. Had some real fun with family. Specially I'd like to thank 'Yousuf' from My Leisure Club Holidays LLP for making all this happen.

I paid ?25000/- excluding fare from Bangalore to Cochin. The provided driver did not know either of Hindi or English languages. Therefore we couldn't ask him about any guidance whatsoever. Therefore it wasn't quite a guided tour as was promised. Hotel Archana Residency in Munnar had a pathetic restaurant. Food was tasteless and they never prepared Tandoor. On our second last day of the tour, driver went away in the evening without informing us. It was a very unprofessional behavior by driver. He told on the phone that he was drinking with friends. I commanded him to come back and hand over the car keys to me. Few minutes later the driver, and his boss both stopped answering my calls. Thus ruined our plans to have dinner. We were forced to eat pathetic food of Archana residency. Last day of the tour, I asked the driver to take us to the Top Station point in Munnar. Driver instead suggested us to take Jeep Safari. I paid ?1,500/- for a pathetic ride. They showed us 4 useless points, there were no tourists at all there. I felt cheated. I suspect the driver made suggestion to get a commission from the Safari provider. Few good things suggested by driver were Eravikulam National Park, one of the best places to visit in Munnar; Madupetty Dam boat ride. I'd say I felt a little overspent on this trip considering the quality of hotels and services. I could have booked the same hotels a lot cheaper myself.

This has reference to our trip to Kerala thru a travel agent My Leisure Club Holidays LLP ie thru Mr. Yusuf of My Leisure Club Holidays LLP From 8th to 12 October 2015.

Please be informed that I and my sister have worked at senior positions in the hotel industry and have dealt with a lot of travel agents but we were highly disappointed at the end of the trip after dealing with the above mentioned ta.

We made several calls to Mr Yusuf from Kerala at every stage to tell him about the ill mannerism and absolutely unprofessional attitude of the driver, but it was not taken care of.

We were clearly told by Mr Yusuf that the km limit is 750 and above that we have to pay.we found it a fair deal and agreed.

But the moment we landed, in Kochi, there we were shocked to see the attitude of the driver. absolutely arrogant, ill-mannered, unprofessional and reluctant to show the points of our choice.

He did not even guide us thru the spices. Finally, we got some spices at Periyar garden and the prices were more than double the market price...............

He was dictating about the spots and did not show us what we wanted to see many spots were left ..

All this was told to Mr Yusuf at every stage but surprisingly, it seems even he did not have control over the situation or he did not believe in customer satisfaction...

My father 77, diabetic, requested more than once to stop in between for going to wash room when we were moving towards allipay but the mannerless driver did not stop and pretended not to have heard this..

Towards end of the trip, Mr Yusuf also behaved strangely and expected us to deal with the situation ourselves..

Even in houseboat, my parents were served black tea after breakfast and not the normal tea, they were told there is no milk

I would re iterate that the entire trip was disappointing and we are deeply hurt but maintain that Kerala is beautiful and worth seeing

But it is not caused because of us. Please understand clearly that while you travelled that time A MAJOR STRIKE took place in Munnar & because of that no vehicle moved & all shops were closed. If that was a preplanned strike we could have advise you by changing the plan, BUT it was a sudden strike.

But you were FORCED our driver to take for sightseeing places. Even when DRIVER EXPLAINED about the strike you forced him to take the car out for sightseeing. So he behaved strictly with you saying that he can?t take the vehicle.

WE ALSO CALLED & INFORMED ABOUT IT BUT YOU WERE NOT AT ALL TAKING THE STRIKE INTO CONSIDERATION. YOUR ONLY WISH WAS TO GO OUT FROM THE HOTEL FOR SIGHTSEEING.

BUT HOWEVER WE SHOWN YOU ALL PLACES AS PER ITINERARY. BUT WHEREEVER ENTRANCE TICKETS THEY COLLECTED YOU HAVEN?T VISITED THOSE.

INSTEAD YOU FORCED OUR DRIVER TO TAKE TO SOME OTHER PLACES WHICH WAS NOT IN ITINERARY & ALSO THOSE POINTS CAN BE ACCESSED BY TREKKING JEEPS ONLY BUT YOU SIMPLY FORCED THE DRIVER TO GO TO THAT PLACES ALSO IN THE SAME INNOVA SO THAT DRIVER REJECTED TO TAKE YOU TO THOSE POINTS.

Coming to the KILOMETER part, we informed clearly that the vehicle Kilometers will be calculated from Garage to Garage. You agreed at that time. Moreover if you worked with Hotel Industry you Should be knowing about it clearly. Not only we charged you from Garage to Garage, it is a common practice of all Travel agents.

You also complained that the driver haven?t given stopover for your father to rest. Please note that the driver given more than 3 stopovers.

Before writing a review like this, please think about what you have done during the trip. Simply don?t write a review to create a bad Impression for our company.
