After freshening up you can set out on a sight-seeing tour. You can visit the Pookkodu lake and spend some time boating. You will also visit Pazhassi Raja Tomb and Pazhassi Raja museum Mananthavady and Kuruvadweep /– a series of islands formed on the Kabini river. Also you could visit the Banasura Sagar Dam-It is the largest earth dam in India and the second largest of its kind in Asia.

The 2nd day after breakfast we go on a full day sight-seeing tour of Wayanad. We visit the Chembara peak and Soochipara Falls. We also visit the Muthanga wildlife sanctuary where you can go on a jungle safari and experience the grandeur of nature/’s many blessings. This will definitely be a cherished experience to the nature lover in you.

Next you will visit the Neolithic cave site of Edakkal. Tourists must trek up the Ambukuthi Hill to reach the caves. The trek up the hill, peppered with coffee plantations, is worth an experience and it takes almost 45 minutes to climb the hill. The lush greenery and scenic landscape around and the cool breeze that carries the aroma of coffee will surely make your journey an unforgettable one.

After breakfast, the next morning we check out of the resort and proceed towards Calicut in time for your flighttrain. If you have the luxury of time you can visit the Wayanad heritage museum at Ambalavayal, Jain temple at Sultan Bathery and the Phantom Rock.
