Jericho

Jericho is a village and enumeration assigned place in Nassau Shrine, New York on the North Shore of Long Island, around 29 miles east of Midtown Manhattan. The zone is served by the Jericho Union Free School District and the Syosset Central School District, the limits of which contrast to some degree from those of the villa.

The limits of the Jericho Post Office shift from both the village and the school region limits, outstandingly by including a segment of Jericho in the Westbury postal division, and the consideration of a bit of Syosset in the Jericho postal division. The English families who settled in Jericho were, or soon moved toward becoming, Quakers, individuals from the Society of Friends. Numerous fled from abuse in England and in the New England Colonies.
