About Evans
Evans City, Butler County, Pennsylvania, is a borough in the United States. The population in the 2010 census was 1,833. The site that is now Evans City, was a favorite camping ground for Native Americans for a long time, who named the Creek which it used to run through Big Beawar Run, while the French did it like Kais-ku-Esse or Known as "Breckenck Creek", the names adopted by travelers between Fort Ducane and Fort McHullett, and the pioneering English speakers of Contectiving, the original township. From 1804 to 1836, the place was often called "Boggs Mill", and in later years Evansberg, after Thomas B. Evans, who bought and rebuilt the original Boggs Mill.
In 190, 63 people were included in the census, and at the beginning of 194, it was generally credited with a population of about 1,000. In October 1878, the railroad for Evans City was completed; The first freight to be given was a new boiler which was exploded in the Sutton mill to replace it. J. Bank of Dambuch and Son was in existence. The residence for the pastor of the German Lutheran Church, the Henry Young Store and other houses was completed, and the new railroad city indicated signs of business activities. It appears that there was a council's control at that time, such as Road Improvement and ZT. Vice is mentioned as the police chief.
