Daphne

It is a city in Baldwin County, Alabama, United States, on the eastern shoreline of Mobile Bay. The city is situated along I-10, 11 miles east of Mobile and 170 miles southwest of the state capital of Montgomery. It is a key city of the Daphne-Fairhope-Foley metropolitan region, which incorporates all of Baldwin County.

The occupied history of what is presently called Daphne dates at any rate to the Paleo-Indian period and Native American clans around 9000 BC. Advanced Daphne is a flourishing suburb of adjacent Mobile. Daphne has embraced the moniker ″The Jubilee City″ in acknowledgment of its status as one of the areas of the Mobile Bay celebration. The main other place celebrations happen is in Tokyo Bay.
