Candor

Candor is a town in Tioga shrine, New York. The populace was 5,305 at the 2010 statistics. The Town of Candor has a village named Candor. The town is south of Ithaca, New York. Settlement of the town started around 1794 ashore bought as a major aspect of the Watkins and Flint Patent of 1794.

The Town of Candor was framed from the Town of Spencer in 1811. Nationals needed to name the town "Washington," however did not do as such because of the presence of another town by that name in New York Dutchess County. The wellspring of the name "Genuineness" is obscure. Openness was the group recognized as "Springdale" in Vidich and Bensman's 1958 book, "Residential community in Mass Society."
