Bristol

It is apparently best known for being the site of a part of the essential business annals of down home music, showing Jimmie Rodgers and the Carter Family, and later a most cherished scene of the mountain entertainer Uncle Charlie Osborne. The U.S. Congress saw Bristol as the "Beginning of Country Music" in 1998, and the Birthplace of Country Music Museum is arranged in Bristol.6 Bristol is the start of Tennessee Ernie Ford. It is a primary city of the Kingsport−Bristol−Bristol, TN-VA Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is a piece of the Johnson City−Kingsport−Bristol, TN-VA Combined Statistical Area − generally known as the "Tri-Cities" region.
