You will also find a lake called Badami Talav with a statue of Shivaji with his mother. You can also visit other forts like Chavand jeevdhan. Bhairavgad and Jumnar.

It was also used as a prison for Mahatma Gandhi, Mahadev Bhai Desai and Kasturba Gandhi from 1942 to 1944. This palace was built by Sultan Muhammed Shah Agh Khan III in 1892. It is an exemplary specimen of architectural excellence with lush green gardens.

4. Rajgad Fort

It is standing at the height of 4600 feet. It was Shivaji’s capital from more than 25 years. You can also do trekking and overnight camp. The view from the top of the fort is quite fascinating. It also has two temples where you can do camping.
