About Argentona
Argentona is a region in the comarca of the Maresme in Catalonia, Spain. It is arranged on the south-east side of the rock Litoral run, toward the north-west of Mataro. The town is both a visitor focus and a remarkable agricultural focus. A neighborhood street interfaces the district with Cabrera de Mar and with the primary N-II street at Vilassar de Mar. The town focus has structures in an extensive variety of styles. The late gothic church of Sant Julia was reestablished by Josep Puig I Cadafalch. A similar modeler structured Casa Gari, a private living arrangement bordering the house of prayer of Sant Miquel del Cros, a work in the style of Antoni Gaudi by Lluis Bonet 1929.
There are a few structures from the 16th to the 17th centuries, and the Roman church of La Mare de Deu del Viver and the benedictine cloister of Sant Pere de Clara. There is a fascinating historical center committed to water containers, the Argentona Water Jug Museum, in which there are shown in excess of 700 pieces, including four clay works by Pablo Picasso. The town celebration Festa Major happens each fourth of August, to observe St Dominic. The civic chairman of this town is Eudald Calvo Catala.
