About Braga
Braga is a town and a municipality within the northwestern Portuguese district of Braga, within the historic and cultural Minho Province. The city has a resident population of 192,494 population, representing the 7th largest municipality in Portugal. Its location is 183.40 km². Its agglomerated urban area extends from the Cavado River to the Este River. It is the 1/3-largest city centre in Portugal. The metropolis changed into the European Youth Capital in 2012.
