About Gandantegchinlen Monastery
It is a Mongolian Buddhist religious community in the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar that has been reestablished and rejuvenated since 1990. The Tibetan name means the "Incomparable Place of Complete Joy". It right now has more than 150 priests in home. It includes a 26.5-meter-high statue of Avalokitesa. It went under state insurance in 1994.
Gandantegchinlen Monastery is well known and famous place in this city. The religious community was built by request of the fifth Jebtsundamba Khutuktu in 1809. The primary sanctuary was the Gungaachoilin Datsan. Just a single wooden column stays from this sanctuary. Devotees like the most this place.
