About Zihuatanejo
Zihuatanejo is the 4th biggest city in the Mexican territory of Guerrero. Politically the city has a place with the district of Zihuatanejo de Azueta in the western piece of Guerrero, yet both are normally alluded to as Zihuatanejo. It is on the Pacific Coast, around 240 km northwest of Acapulco, and has a place with an area of the Mexican Pacific Coast known as the Costa Grande. This town has been created as a vacation spot alongside the advanced visitor resort of Ixtapa, 5 km away. Be that as it may, Zihuatanejo has kept its customary town feel. The town is situated on a well-ensured straight which is prevalent with private vessel proprietors amid the winter months.
Zihuatanejo burned through the greater part of its history up to this point as a tired angling town. The government's choice to build up the close-by resort during the 1970s has had real ramifications for both the city and district of Zihuatanejo. The zone is currently the third most-visited territory in Mexico, after Cancun and Puerto Vallarta, and the most well known for games anglers. Zihuatanejo's population hopped from 6,887 to 37,328 by the mid 1990s. As of late, another thruway called the "Maxipista Siglo XXI" was worked to associate Zihuatanejo with Morelia, cutting the movement time from Mexico City to around 6 hours.
