About Xochistlahuaca
Xochistlahuaca is a town in Xochistlahuaca Municipality situated in the southeast corner of the Mexican province of Guerrero. It is a piece of this present state's Costa Chica district and keeping in mind that close to the Pacific Ocean, the majority of the domain is sloping. The population is ruled by the indigenous Amuzgo ethnicity, whose ladies are noted for their customary hand woven articles of clothing, particularly the huipil, which is made both for home use and available to be purchased outside the zone.
The town and region is found southeast of the Guerrero capital of Chilpancingo. It is a piece of the Costa Chica locale of the state which reaches out from Acapulco to the Oaxaca fringe. There is proof that Xochislahuaca was the capital of an Amuzgo domain, which was subject to a limited extent to the Mixtec area of Ayacastla when the Aztecs landed in the 15th century. While Ayacastla was enslaved, the Amuzgos were never totally or legitimately under the control of the Aztecs. Nonetheless, on account of Aztec control of the region, the name Xochistlahuaca originates from Nahuatl and signifies "plain of blooms".
