Tlacoachistlahuaca

Tlacoachistlahuaca is a Mexican city of the province of Guerrero. It is situated toward the south-east of the element in the geo-financial area of the Costa Chica. It is the leader of the homonymous district. The name of this town is gotten from the Nahuatl word Tlacoachixtlahuaca. It originates from the words tlacoachitl or tlacuatzin tlacuache and from ixtlahuaca plain, valley, which can be interpreted as tlacuaches plain. From Tlacoahistlahuaca there are references from the Spanish triumph, where it is proposed that Hernando de Avila was presumably the encomendero of the population since he was depended with this activity in the Amusga area.

After the section of the war of autonomy of Mexico, its fulfillment and the formation of the General Captaincy of the South by Agustin de Iturbide, the population was a piece of it. Later with the foundation of the government Republic in 1824, Tlacoachistlahuaca was incorporated as a territory of the region of Ometepec in the district of Tlapa having a place with the province of Puebla. To build up itself the province of Guerrero the 27 of October of 1849, it kept having a place with the region of Ometepec however at this point participating in the district of Allende.
