About Hangal
Hangal, also spelled Hanagal, Hanungal, and Hungul, is a historic town in Haveri district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Hungal is recorded as Panungal in early archives. It was at one time the capital of a feudatory of the Kadambas. The Kadambas was an old line of south India which led the district of the present-day territory of Goa and close-by Konkan area from around advertisement 485 until the eleventh century.
They manufactured sanctuaries in Hangal in the Jain convention.
