About Chail
Chail is a wonderful slope station located 63 km from Shimla in the Shivalik area of Himachal Pradesh. Chail is spread crosswise over three hillocks — Rajgarh, Pandewa and Sadh Tiba, covering a region of more than 72 sections of land. Disregarding the valley of Sutlej, it enjoys charming atmosphere consistently. Chail likewise offers sublime and all encompassing perspectives of the encompassing wide open and ignores both, Kasauli and Shimla 45 km.
Chail was a lethargic little mountain town till its change in 1893. It was established by the Maharaja of Patiala, Bhupinder Singh. Ousted from entering Shimla for eloping with the little girl of Lord Kitchner, the then Commander-in-Chief of the British Indian Army, the Maharaja made plans to fabricate himself another mid year capital superior to Shimla.
