About Stutzengrun
Stutzengrun is a town in the district of Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany. Stutzengrun lies in the Ore Mountains directly on the limit with the Vogtland. In Stutzengrun is discovered the Weibbach stream, which purges legitimately into the Eibenstock Reservoir. The community lies on a hilly level of Eibenstock tourmaline-stone and stretches from a stature of 570 up to 680 meters above ocean level.
Directly on Bundesstrabe 169, which goes through the community, is the Bauernbarockkirche "Baroque Farmers' Church", worked in 1701 and now a secured landmark, with its cut raised area and a 130-year-old Jehmlich organ. A further fascination in the community is the 795-m-high Kuhberg "Cow Mountain" with the Prinz-Georg-Turm tower which manages an unrivaled perspective on the neighboring networks.
In addition, the Bergwiesenerlebnispfad "Mountain Meadow Experience Path", which highlights indigenous vegetation and Scottish Highland dairy cattle, makes for an intriguing walk. Stutzengrun lies on Bundesstrabe 169. Until the 1970s, the community was associated with the railroad by the tight measure line that kept running from Wilkau-Hablau to Carlsfeld. In 1997, the stretch to Schonheide was remade and from that point forward has been kept running as a historical center railroad.
