About Eppendorf
Eppendorf is one of 13 quarters in the Hamburg-Nord precinct of Hamburg, Germany, and lies north of the Aubenalster. In 2016 the population was 24,387. Eppendorf, first referenced as Eppenthorp in 1140, is Hamburg's most established town. Its name begins either from the old Germanic epen or from the individual name Ebbo/Eppo.
