About Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games
The Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games goes on every year out in Arlington at the Arlington Maverick stadium. The Dallas suburb of Arlington has this distinction of hosting one of the largest of the hundreds of highland gatherings in North America.
This festival has a volume that contains five large entertainment tents, 65 clan tents and a pub tent. Incidentally, Texas Scottish Festival has been Highlander magazine has crowned it as the top North American festival for entertainment. Highlights include traditional games and arts and crafts stalls.
When you be here you would find a bevy of unique and interesting events like- a kilted golf tournament, a Scottish fiddle workshop, a Scottish military living history encampment, Scottish country dancing and a Celtic harp workshop.
