About Singapore Mid Autumn Festival

 

Singapore Mid Autumn Festival Also referred to as the Lantern Festival or Mooncake Festival, the Singapore Mid Autumn Festival is one of the most popular occasions celebrated by the Singaporean Chinese network.

 

It takes region yearly on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month and has been celebrated for a couple of thousand years in China. The majority of the populace in Singapore is Chinese, for this reason making the Mid Autumn Festival an essential culture right here. The pageant centres across the worship of Chang’E, the Moon Goddess, for her favour and appropriate fortune.

 

The whole circle of relatives receives involved inside the birthday party giving them time to bond as they collect the harvest, pray and offer thanksgiving.
