About Scindia Gold Cup

The All India Rajmata Vijayraje Scindia Gold Cup Women's Hockey Tournament started in Bhopal here from Saturday. The competition is being sorted out by Bhopal Municipal Corporation. It was initiated by Revenue Minister Umashankar Gupta, Mayor Alok Sharma, Member of Parliment Alok Sanjar, Council President Surjit Singh Chauhan in nearness of Commissioner Priyanka Das at Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium.

The main match was played between Madhya Pradesh Women's Indian Academy vanquished Lucknow Sai by 4-1. In the following match Raulkela Sportspersons Hostel Orissa vanquished UCO Bank Haryana by 4-2, Indian Railways crushed Bhopal Sai by 6-0. Income Minister Umashankar Gupta, on the event of the opening service of All India Rajmata Vijaya Raje Sindiya Gold Cup Hockey Tournament underscored the need to keep up sports soul in governmental issues.

Gupta, while giving all the best to the members in the opposition, said that they will play out their best in the opposition and will light up the name of their city and furthermore speak to the nation. On this event, the Mayor Alok Sharma said that the city organizations are arranging sports rivalries to support sports with their unique work. He said that with the sorting out of ladies' hockey rivalry is an undertaking to advance hockey.
