About Ravindra Nath Tagore Jayanti

Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti celebrates the birthday of Tagore, one of India's noblest children. He is universally presumed as India's first Nobel Prize victor, a progressive mastermind and thinker, a committed educationist and a performer second to none. Born in the place where he grew up of Kolkata on the seventh of May, in 1861, he has been given the designation of Gurudev, an impression of the high regard he is held in by thousands everywhere throughout the nation.
