About MassKara Festival
MassKara Festival is a yearly festival in Bacolod City with features each 4th Sunday of October with road artists in vivid outfits, covers and hats. Bacolod City welcomes you to the "most joyful and most brilliant celebration in the Philippines" which will be a month-long festival with shows, sustenance fests, road parties, and a ton of exercises will attract a great many guests to the City of Smiles.
The Masskara celebration was first imagined in 1980 to add shading and jollity to the Bcolod City's festival of its Charter Day commemoration, on 19 October. The image of the celebration - a grinning veil - was received by the coordinators to sensationalize the Negrenses glad soul, in spite of intermittent financial downturns in the sugar business.
