About Kalilangan Festival

Every year, General Santos City denotes its establishment commemoration on February 27 with different exercises coming full circle the weeklong festival of Kalilangan Festival. The commemoration festivity remembers the arrival of the city's organizer, General Paulino Santos, alongside the primary pioneers from Luzon, at the shores of Sarangani Bay. As the "Officers" as General Santos City inhabitants gladly call themselves stamp Gensan's 69th Foundation Anniversary on Wednesday, they are required to run the city's significant avenues to witness once more the Kadsagayan, one of the features of the vivid thirteenth Kalilangan Festival. Tourists come here from all over the world with their family members and friends to enjoy this festival.
