About Cheese Festival

Alongside cheeses from all over Switzerland and someplace else, their nearby prairie and alpine cheeses could be showcased in the Gruyere Guild production chalet. Thanks to the Gruyere Guild manufacturing chalet, young and old alike will have the pleasure of coming across the stages of a Gruyere AOP production over a wooden hearth. The Fribourg cooperative of cheese manufacturers will sell their produce on its stand with tastings of alpine cheese fondue half and vacherin.

The Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP and the Gruyere AOP are of route the stars of the event. Besides La Gruyere, the Valais, Graubunden, Appenzell, Uri, Savoy and Corsica will also be gift with their respective specialties. The event is all about conviviality, coming across produce from Switzerland and some place else and tasting nearby cuisine. At each stand, a brand new cheese, a new taste, a brand new produce is supplied.
